track or garage alignment, scale setup recommendations
been a few year ssince i had an alignment/scale/pad setup.
i have two cars, the boxster and a ta2 mustang.
if you were to buildout, spec an alignment setup pad scale etc system which woudl be great for the garage/warehouse and something you could break down and take to the track, what woudl you recommend? platform? 1 load or 2 load cell scales, which ones? strings, which ones? turnplates or sliders, or...??/
curious whatst the good setup these days if its changed in the last many years. want to try to avoid hubstand/wheelstands as i think they can be a bit limited and in my previous experience, not as easy to use/implement as just rolling on, using sliders to eliminate binding adn then turnplates, scales, etc.

I have the ART laser alignment and the Intercomp scales.
We had a guy who used to bring his scale platform and he was kind enough to let other formula drivers put their cars on it. If you get the granite table and laser, you can set up ANYWHERE in 20 minutes. I've done it in the pits, in my trailer, in my shop.....
After doing it 3 or 4 times, you will find it is so easy that a caveman can do it.

MK is the best, but priciest. One thing to consider is on the TA2 car, you have to set the splitter and chassis heights. For that, you need a good ground plane, so something with a larger platform is easier. That car also has a bit of a different width/wheelbase than the Boxster, so you need something that is adjustable.
