The biggest races, sebring, the glen, etc. usaully have about 10-15 996's, 3-7 993's, and a couple 964's. So even at its best there would be about 20 cars in the challenge group. Obviously there are two problems with this; it is a waste of track time b/c the group isn't full, and that doesn't make for good racing.

One alternative might be to have challenge races at the popular tracks.
-Sebring, Rd. Atlanta, Texas, MidOhio, California, Road America, Watkins Glen, etc. up to 10 choices equally distributed across the country as best they can, 4 races count for points
-Then have a list of 5 smaller venues across the country that have trouble filling groups, and 2 of these races count for points
That would make 6 point races altogether.

At the big races like Sebring where there is no chance of filling a group with 60 cup cars, so for practice and qualifying the cup cars could run with the other groups, then have a separate Challenge race.
