Reminds me of crashdomaldonado

Max has huge talent no brains. Look at max's gap to slower riccardo.

I honestly can't see how that is at all VER's fault. I can't even understand how one could say it was his fault.

I think I would need someone to explain to me precisely what input he should have either done or not done at any point in that video. I watched it live and have seen the replays multiple times and I can't figure out what he should do. I can come up with multiple choices for the two red cars though.

yup.

looks like max was more worried about squeezing kimi than getting squeezed by seb. irony is seb really didn't need to block so he put himself harms way unnecessarily.

Yes crash started with Max’s squeeze on Kimi and not with Vettel chop. Kimi and Max would have touched or crashed regardless and that was the first contact. That’s Max for you.

Yes, it sure looked like Max came over a tiny bit on Kimi, then their wheels touched

Fell asleep after the first 3 laps, woke up and the result was the same.

WOW how the racing gods intervened on behalf of Hamilton and Mercedes!!! All but 1 of the previous 9 winners in Singapore had come from pole position and then it rains 15 minutes before the race.... the first time in the history of an F1 night race... I literally fast forwarded through the entire race to see if anything would change (it didn't) and can't see how Ferrari/Vettel can get back in this thing with the limited amount of races left and the fact that the other venues suit the Mercedes PU more.

Initially I blamed Vettel, but anyone of us would have protected the inside going into t1 too. Vettel would have been scott free if VER and Kimi wouldn't have collected him -- Kind of like last year in Spain when HAM collected Nico after spinning. That's racing.

Yep. That's my read.

Vettel never touched anyone until he was collected by Kimi's out of control car.

Max's left front contacted Kimi's right rear...

No one that matters (FIA) IS saying it was Max's fault, just a racing incident.

It's human nature to try and assign blame (just listen to Max's post race interview and the statement from Ferrari ). Unfortunately, this outcome was probably inevitable given the conditions and some of the drivers
involved. I know I certainly expected something like this to happen, I was laughing the whole time Hobbs and Matchett were listing their pre race podium picks (though one of them did pick Ricciardo for second).
The real miracle would have been if they had all gotten through turn 1 cleanly.

If you are fighting for the world championship you shouldn't take those risks squeezing someone that much. You can see what happens. -Max Verstappen
I'll just archive this gem for when Max gets a pole position. I can only assume from this that he would never come across when the red lights go out.

I've watched it over and over. I can't fault Max, he had nowhere to go. It's very difficult to place fault with anyone, but if pressed I would have to put it on Seb. But I still think Max did not act improperly given what he had to work with.

Where was Kimi going once they got to the first turn? I think the results between Kimi and Max would have been the same. The rest may have survived.
