Makes you realize that we are witnessing history being made everyday.
I was an adolescent at the time of his making in F1... The radio was a principle source of in depth Villeneuve news in Quebec. How things have changed!

The video is really nicely done - thank you for sharing that.
I remember when I first saw the video of the crash in which Gilles died. Such a violent and senseless (by today's standards) crash. These guys that raced at that level back then were really brave. They literally took their lives into their hands every time they turned a wheel on track. We can attribute the safety standards that we enjoy today (cars, safety gear, track construction/safety) to these guys. For that, I personally am eternally grateful.
