Need tire rack for open featherlite

Surfbum, yeah, having it take up 1.5-2' on the front is a bit of a bummer. Thing is, even if I could could move my car further forward, then there wouldn't be space for me to tie it down.
The D rings aren't at the far corners of the floor, so there'd be too much slack in the lines, I couldn't get things tight enough.
He was towing some tiny little formula car with it, so had plenty of space. It works with my M3 and my old 944, anything bigger really wouldn't fit and I'd have to modify or remove that box.
As it is, I need to have the outside seams of the aluminum paneling on the box welded, the fab guy just glued it all together...
