So what's the realistic going rate on 918s these days...I know they've started to slide back to earth a bit...but there's also some stubborn owners who paid at the top who haven't accepted that they are sliding yet.

I know of a 918 Weissach (with regular color, not PTS), 10k miles, got sold for 1.2 million recently.

I found out when we stopped I was ripping up Highway 1 behind Hurley Haywood who was piloting the 918. What a rush!

It was an absolute blast chasing these guys. It was a Porsche sponsored drive for all the usual auto journalists, the 996 GT3 was flown over from the museum in Stuttgart, the 718 Spider was the newest - to be formally unveiled the next day..

Sounds like a great time, congrats!

A little off topic, but what gen Atom do you have? I got to drive a gen 2 or 3 in the Rockies several years ago while following my cgt, 993 turbo and others. What a hoot that thing is!!
