It is a completely new tire acting perfectly on an weird and
waywardness chassis. Because of the fact that the engine is mounted in the back of the car, the balance is something difficult. The new tire 'helps' the car to act more balanced than aggressive and the new compound mixture does a lot of excellent work for it. The structure consists of a new compound mixture, rich in silicon and especially the sidewall structure has more metal and fabric cables which help the geometry and rigidity. It is also contains an increased content of natural rubber.

When we drove the car around Nordschleife, especially in the 'back' place of the track, where the tarmac is gold, with shades and humidity, the tire itself improved the performance and handling around the difficult, fast and with a slope turns/curves.

In other words the new compound has the ability to work in both of the hot and cold conditions on the track reducing at the same time the lap times in a very impressive levels. It works half in hot weather and half in cold.

The disadvantageare that there is a big deficiency and the demand is bigger at the same time!

There are many possibilities. One of these is the production of a track-use only tire which later will be available for the new 991 GT3 RS too.
