How many 918's sold so far?
How many of the 918 of 918's has Porsche sold thus far? Just wondering if their production run is approaching closure anytime soon?
Another question or two...
How many LaFerraris did Ferrari sell and how many P1's did McLaren sell? And does anyone know the The Ring time's for the two?
I've already have been seeing ads for P1's for sale. But at a premium of purchase price of course. Buyer's Remorse perhaps?

I guess you haven't been reading the news for the last 6 months or so?
918 was sold out last November. Production of the cars are winding down, only 30 cars or so to go.
McLaren sold 375 P1s, Ferrari claimed they sold out 499 copies of the LaFerrari, but knowing Ferrari, there should be at least 10% more.
P1 has recorded 7:04, they claimed they did go under 7 mins, and most kids also believe there is a Santa. Most insiders believe the best section times for the P1 on the Ring was 6:47 or so.
Ferrari never made a run at the Ring.
All 3 cars are on the secondary market in case you are wondering.

Thank you for that information. On the secondary market from what I've seen the 918's are running around $1.5MM. I figure a lot of the extra value added to the asking price is due to the magazine testing showing the 0-60 mph of 2.2 seconds amongest other things. For the P1 if you don't have evidence then it didn't happen. And for $1.5MM I would rather have a Pagani Huayra which you have to pay for in €uro's.
Ferrari would have had to rent out the track for an entire week since they bring out their entire contingent and program the fuel maps to optimize track performance.

Ferrari announced they will build #500 LaFerrari to be auctioned off to help earthquake victims in Italy. Just if you are interested.

They're building a "publicly announced" 500th LaFerrari. They aren't building #500.
LaF's aren't numbered. And it's widely accepted that Ferrari made, and sold, more than 499 of them.

The LWB are a pain in the *** in side the 918s, but they are a gem of a seat inside a GT3RS or a GT4.......
As fro driving at the limit, the P3s are the ***** cats compared to the 918. There are only a handful of people in the whole world that can actually drive the 918 AT the limits.
Don't believe everything you read in a McLaren forum, the P3 is the easiest to drive at the limits, it behaves just like any other RWD cars. The hybrid system in a P3 only kicks in in full throttle and it doesn't have regen braking. A Laferrari is much more difficult to drive at the limit than a P3.
And in a 918 one actually has to deal with the disconnected front e-machine. So its' not a cake walk, one has to get used to how the car behaves.
The 918 is the easiest to get to 90%, but the P3 is the easiest to get that last 10%. it takes much more to get the last 5% towards 100% in a 918 than any other cars.
