So my porsche tech told me there is no need for trickle charger if the main battery is plugged in. Makes sense but anyone know different. Just curious

Trickle charger only maintains the little 12V lithium battery, it does nothing to the main hybrid battery.

The big main battery also runs the 12V system, so if you keep that one plugged in and charged, it will also look after the 12V circuit.

I figured as much but I want to be sure because I am pretty sure a dead battery on that car would be a big issue....
