The 918 is hard at work downunder entertaining our motoring press and car enthusiasts alike..........I am sure you will find this as interesting as I did ,,97 Km/h in electric mod ,engage petrol engine and V Max to 350km/h on a public road ..........Enjoy

There are lots of those unlimited speed roads up the top end of Australia ,,,,but they can be very dangerous due to stock and wild life wondering around and they are not that well maintained ,due to their isolation ,,,If you get into trouble out there you can be in a world of hurt ,,,,,,literally is the middle of no where ..............

Fairly risky exercises under those conditions indeed, apparently driven by Craig Baird who has won numerous Carrera Cup races. Still, a stray Emu; Wombat or Kangaroo won't help all of the driving skills in the world at those speeds. Very cool video though!
