Lately, when I try to start my CGT, it clicks once and nothing happens (as if I did not engage the clutch). Battery is good. I remove the key and try again and it fires right up.

Anyone experience this and found the reason?
Could be starter. A known weakness in our cars. EXACT same symptoms on mine. I just had the starter rebuilt and fixed the problem.
Had exactly the same problem a couple of years ago. Fixed it when the car was in for an oil change. Almost no cost, I think the tech said something about bad electrical contact, he had to clean some contacts ..... No problem since then!

Be interested to know if it starts if you (after you have triple checked you are in neutral) turn the key to start and ONLY THEN depress the clutch. If it starts every time, this would point me to the clutch switch not operating correctly.
