Only a 200mi trip but a good one. This is the ONLY car I’ve ever owned that I am impressed with more and enjoy more, the longer I own it and the more miles I pour on it. Every car before it (and there are a few) hit some peak once I got used to it and then ultimately started to be less and less fun every time I turned the key. If this one has a peak, I’m not there yet. I like it materially more than I did 5k miles ago and I liked it a lot then too. The 4.0 kept my attention longest prior to this but it’s gone now. It plateaued early and held on for quite a while. In fairness, if I add up total miles on all 997 2/3/rs platforms, I still have a ways to go in the GT to catch that. So far, almost every time I turn the key, the experience keeps getting better.

Working hard still.

1500 miles now, France, the Riviera and now the Italian Dolomites.

My goal is 100k miles before I hang up my driving gloves.

What amazes me (and thrills me with joy) is the appeal this automotive gem has amongst the younger generation.

Every stop we see some Insta guys and girls taking pictures 😁

^^^ugggh I had an epic driving trip thru Italian Dolomites cut short a couple of years ago and don’t know if I’ll ever be able to replicate the trip. Wow, was it beautiful and some of the most epic scenic roads. I didn’t have the CGT with me; GR gt3 instead; maybe next time?

Awesome trek RS Clubsport. Curious if you have a US spec car since your speedo is in MPH?

I made two new American muscle friends near Harriman yesterday. And logged another couple hundred miles. I’m hoping I’ll pass 20k on the odo by end of driving season up here; we’ll see how long it takes for that first blast of salt to hit the streets? Once that happens, she’s going to Mr Repasi for KW suspension, ST brakes and an overall service. Spring won’t come soon enough.

I seem to attract the Americans lately. This was one of my fav cars growing up as a kid, parked next to my favorite car of all-time. I never even saw a Porsche of any kind, in-the-flesh, until much later in life, let alone anything remotely close to a GT (2/3/rs/CGT). I grew up wanting a 69 GTO and 55 Chevy; I think because I actually knew people that owned them

The GTO owner was great. He had a lot of stories and a LOT of American muscle stashed away. It was this guy’s turn to get exercised.
