Private imports by collectors either from U.S or Europe ...there are around half dozen Carrera GT in Australia and one or two 918 ,s ..........I believe the owner of this car is also able to drive it on the road legally as I have seen him do so ..........thumbs up to him as many just site and collect dust in collections ..

Yeah, most commonly its just Carrera GT's that get transported but if a client requires major service work to other cars in his collection they will get shipped together. I perform an average 6-8 CGT major services a year for new clients from around the country and service about 15 local cars annually. I also travel for pre purchase inspections and minor service work for personal clients. I'm the Lead Tech at Porsche Of Fairfield in Connecticut

Nice pics. I can't wait to get a weekend with mine coming up mid July. Been several months since I've been behind wheel of it. I hope to inflict much depreciation.

Departed on Thursday for a drive with some friends. Came home yesterday after four days and 1,394 miles. Needles to say my passenger and I packed light! I took this picture of her in appreciation.
Oh and has anyone else noticed what happens when a bird gets sucked in one of the front air intakes?? Looks like all that air really does go to the brakes
Nice to see the rest of you putting some miles on as well.

Quite some miracle that you managed a 4-day roadtrip with a passenger no less... really, how??

Toiletries & underwear in the hidden door compartments?
Travel kit in the engine bay trapdoors, in lieu of tire-filler & toolkit?
Midget-sized passenger with no need for legroom?

FWIW I can't even fit my regular workbag in the frunk
