Default Singer 911 or Porsche 918

Hey Guys,

I'm considering building a singer 911 or going for the 918. I know these are 2 very different cars, but I can't have both right now. I do care a bit about residuals.

I would love to hear your thoughts on either of these cars, and why you would pick one over the other.

Thanks!

Buy a minty Carrera GT instead. Or a special aircooled like a 993 Turbo S. A 959 even??

I've got a singer in build and was pondering a 918.

I would put the coin into a CGT as others have said. The Singer will be probably 2 years until delivery so it seems like you will need something in the interim in any case.

The 918 seems a different beast than these other two. Its over twice the price and has not hit the streets ..

Singer - anyone considering it has an itch to scratch.

Suggest grabbing a CGT and build a color matching Singer.

I would add one (918) is the future, (some believe this as I do, others may question it) but if you want to turn it in a few short years...hmmm good question.

The other(Singer) is some of the best of the past. I know several Singers have already changed hands and for more than they were built. As has been indicated the available build dates are now in late 2016 at about number 49 or so. Singer may be a better bet short term if you don't plan to keep it for a long time however if you are not pressured and can hold on to the cars I think either is a safe bet. (Assuming we don't see a bunch of Litium Ion battery fires as customer 918's start delivering, then those bets may be off)

Quick Reply: Singer 911 or Porsche 918
