You're right about hating that interior.

Gemballa kit on a CGT is nothing more than this:

Well, there are some measurable improvements when you read through their literature -- at a fairly high cost, mind you (670 hp, easier clutch, more rear downforce, somewhat improved aerodynamics and cooling). Funny thing is that it makes the car look a little more like a 918. Anyhow, edo competition does a lot more (770 hp) and maintains the style except for the big racing tail fin if you want it... Better to have a variety and so it's nice to have different interpretations (as long as you can remove the panels!). Anyhow, I thought the yellow interior was by someone lease I saw, but can't find it now (this particular one I don't think is too bad -- I don't like the pictures of the others, don't know in real life).

I wouldn't trust gemballa or Edo to modify a carrera gt engine . If you absolutely must do it then rs tuning to great work on Cgt engines .

Also the so called gemballa aero improvements have to my knowledge never been tested in a tunnel and I would be wary of a correct balance between front and rear downforce . I am very dubious of gemballa tuned Cgt's and even the clutch , though apparently easier to use doesn't last from what I have heard .

If I had a CGT and wanted it restored or increase hp, I would ship it straight to Germany and have Porsche work on it.
Great excuse to fly to europe and drive the car when completed before shipping it back home

I agree with the post that it makes the CGT look more like a 918.

I think the rear deck panel with the roof scoop, new wheels, and the new rear spoiler are enough. I'm going to see if just those 4 items can be bought from Gemballa.

Gemballa ruins all there cars, they take a slick, legendary and classy design and make it look like a 17 year olds dream car from F&F series

I will pass

How does that look like a 918? Either your dreaming, or I have to start drinking. Then maybe it might look like a 918.
