Default GT question paint

I only have seen two Carrera GT's in person, both of them were silver. I notice the top part of the doors had some waves in the paint on both of them. Is this some kind of defect from the factory?

It may be the pattern of the carbon fibre showing through the paint. You can see that on mine.

When you say waves, do you mean ripples in surface under the paint? If so, what you are seeing is imperfections in the carbon fiber body work. According to Porsche, this actually changes with the temperature of the surface. Mine varies depending on outdoor temp. Just another example of just how exotic the CGT actually is
