Default Visiting Singer Vehicle Designs - Any Questions?

I'm visiting Singer in the very near future.

If there is anything you'd like to know, I'll be happy to ask when I'm there. Drop your questions in this thread before Sunday evening.

Here's a video we produced a few months ago:

1. How long does it take from order date to finished product.
2. How do insurance companies view the product.

Do they still have long term plans to sell individual parts as opposed to full cars?

Will they be offering merchandise? That is, for those of us who can't go all in on a car but would love a piece of the creativity and craftsmanship otherwise.

Maybe as part of the parts-only program, might they offer body and interior kits?

Enjoy your visit!!

Answers:

1. It's now a two year wait list, seven months to actually build the car, but they're constantly improving their timelines.

2. No issues with any typical collector car policies based on agreed-upon values.

Yes, but be patient!

They're in the business of restoring cars at the moment, not quite ready to be in the business of selling parts.

Thank you for passing this along!

Did they happen to mention how many cars are in their current backlog?

Please ask if the cars are emissions legal for California. Does Singer have headers with heat jackets and catalytic converters for their engines?

Photos would be great. It's a very interesting design and model. Have a great trip.
