A client of ours acquired the rare and highly sought after Porsche Carrera GT right before the New Year and wasted no time upgrading his new car with our GMG WC-CGT Exhaust System and ECU upgrade package.

The GMG WC-CGT Exhaust system is made of the highest quality U.S. T304 stainless steel which has been TIG welded and normalized to ensure no cracking or distortion generated by the harmonics of the V10 engine. As with all GMG WC-GT systems, aerospace hardware is utilized along with a true F1 slip fit design to ensure a perfect seal at all times. Not only does our WC-CGT Sport Exhaust system improve the level of sound from your Carrera GT, it also keeps the high-pitched clean sound from the F1 inspired V10 that we all love. With careful research on how the Carrera GT V10 develops power, we have engineered an exhaust system that improves the V10 power output throughout the RPM range. Our system saves almost 60 pounds behind the rear axle compared to the OEM system; the OEM system weighs 88 lbs whereas ours weigh 30 lbs.

With the help of GIAC on this project, the ECU was tuned to work in conjunction with our WC-CGT Sport Exhaust system. This ensures that all parameters are met to take full advantage of our hardware. This package develops over 19 wheel horsepower and 16 wheel torque. This power increase, combined with the weight savings from our system, makes for an end result that is unparalleled in both performance and sound.
