Love the cgt in white but not sure I buy the explanation of losing control at 15mph. IMHO that's an awful lot of damage for such a slow speed.

It does seem a bit much for 15 mph, that's for sure. I do like the white though

I like the white. Not sure I like the black stripes with it though.

that is going to be VERY expensive to repair. I hope the buyer keeps this in mind as well as the blemish on its history. Of course being a rare color will offset some of the value loss. Would make a great track car!

You're looking at 100K+ in repairs.

Yup, it will cost a lot. My dealer told me they fixed a CGT that had hit something small in the road that flew up and chipped the rear bumper and bent something. The repair was around $25K, with the bumper itself costing $16K.

It's absolutely ridiculous to want a car like that, overflowing with impracticalities. But I do...

I priced it out on what I saw and came up with $129K in parts. add in labor and paint and your close to 200K. I looked at things like the door that is trashed, figure that the mechanicals are toast. Plus once you open things up your going to find all sorts of little pieces that will need to be replaced.

side section behind front tire- 4,209.00 (that looks ok?)
Lower door sill -15,708.00
Front bumper- 6,041.00
NLA on the crossmember behind the nose $?
lower duct trim 249.00
front duct liner 4821
Rear bumper- 19,884.00
Right door- 28,882.00 + guide + window+ airbag+seals+ bits= 40k
right rear fender 18,139.00
taillight 2421.
taillight mount 462.
etc etc etc

Also, according to http://www.carreragtregistry.de.vu/ there are at least 13 Carrera White CGTs in the world. ;^)

I'm not sure I buy the 15 mph incident and hitting two cars. The front looks like he hit a tire wall at a track based on the patterns and direction.
