Not only brave to undertake even the most trivial of work beyond a pad swap with three wheels on the ground, you'd have to buy some very expensive special tools and find a way to attend the school or have a trained tech talk through all the undocumented how-to's to avoid breaking flimsy, little things that really needed a .2 iteration of the Carrera GT to come along with incremental durability and serviceability enhancements.

At a glance, that doesn't look like a complete set -- surely there's a lot more documentation on the Carrera GT than those few volumes?

Wow, what did I do to deserve that?

As with any Porsche, you do need special tools. The manuals tell you that when the need arises. It doesn't say what they cost.

In your glance, what do you think is missing? I listed the repair groups in each binder, that's standard Porsche. It's a complete set, I guarantee it. After a longer look if you think something is missing let me know what it is, and I'll tell you which binder it's in.

I'm not directing any criticism at you, if anything, I was agreeing with your comment that it would take some brave soul to decide to service their own Carrera GT. Simple observation: it's a complex and practically unique (to Porsche) car to service. I'd expect tomes of printed or electronic doc.

In any case, I'd be buying the doc just for amusement and self-education. Circa 2003-2005, Porsche electronic "guided diagnostics" (ie 996 technology) was primitive, so I'm guessing the electronic "stuff" is also pretty limited for the Carrera GT. Still, it would be great to have a laptop to plug in and check its every thought between track sessions to be confident it's (figuratively and literally) firing on all cylinders.
