Love the shoot. I've followed Kirby for a while, then lost him for a spell. Looks like he's better than before
The car is insane, and the pictures are other-worldy. Love the work.

I've been watching people in Europe "skinning" their cars. Fascinating proposition for a car that's going to be driven.
As always, enjoyable photography, though I'd let the first shot (guy with jeans and sneakers) fall to the cutting room floor. : ) And blurring the logo on the "wall" shot works.

Where can I get more information on this "skinning" process/material?

Here's one review:

There's almost religious arguments about which company, which plastic manufacturer and product, etc. Prices vary widely and the quality of the work can be disappointing if you're setting high expectations for the car looking like it's just been to the detailer and it's swimming in deep pool of perfect wax. The only fear is that the installer of any given paint protection film will use a razor and cut the clear coat as they trace around edges, etc.

The skinning process sounds very interesting. Is this the latest fad? Lets all do it. LOL I really don't care for the matte black but the car is nonetheless amazing. What will the car be replaced with?

To find someone in your area, contact a local sign shop. If you ever see a van or truck covered in ads, that is usually a full / partial wrap.
I've been quoted upwards of $4,000 to do a full wrap from places catering to sports cars. Their material / application technique isn't any different than the sign places.
If you are a DIY kind of person, try this:
