Not just you! This is the only CGT that I thought looked bad! Maybe it looks better in person, it couldn't look worse.

The pictures do very little justice. In the pictures the car looks like an almost powder blue. The blue color looks very pale and washed out. I blame this on the quality of the digital shots.

In person the color is actually very rich. It does not appear powdery at all. In person the car really radiates with blue and is quite stunning.

I think it's cool because of the historical significance of the Gulf Porsches from back in the day. I'll stick with Fayence Yellow though.

I am going to see this car on Sunday. Something tells me the photos don't do it justice, and the price is a fishing expedition.

This Dealership has a history of advertising phantom cars. A few years ago I flew there to examine a "new" white CGT only to find that it was ensconced in the owners garage, and wasn't really new, it had been punched.

Lucky for me I have to fly back for a wedding in Des Moines, Iowa; mistakenly booked the flight into Omaha (the groom just graduated from Creighton Medical school) so I will be in the area to do an inspection.

Skunked again!

I went last Friday, but the car was not there, it is in Florida. The pictures are all from the Omaha dealership selling the car for him.

Oh well! One nice thing, though, is that a Rennlister PM'd me to tell me the car was in Florida, but I didn't see the email in time, as I was traveling.

I followed the link on e-bay and noticed the glowing red "ring" light surrounding the back up light- on the same level as the exaust.

What is that? - Another set of break lights?

Just curoius, from the countryside where I don't expect to ever see an actual GT drive by!

The gulf blue exterior and the Ascot interior are both gorgeous but together create a hideous combo. Too bad. Just my opinion.
