Default P zero rosso's available for carrera gt

Pirelli has P zero rosso's available in the OEM sizes and they are N rated (porsche approved). Has anyone had these on their CGT? Did any new CGT's come with these tires from Porsche? Could it be that these tires are much stickier than the PS2's? The wear rating is much higher than the PS2's. According to tirerack.com the wear rating for the Pirelli is 60 and the wear rating for the PS2's is 220, meaning the PS2's will last almost 4X as long. Could the rosso's have a semi slick coumpond?

I just looked them up and you are correct at the wear rating being 60. I would call tire rack, as that is very odd to me. Maybe because they are so wide with such a small sidewall? I have had both, PZero Rosso's and PS2's and the PS2's are miles ahead. Maybe PZero Assimetrico's but the Rosso's are Pirelli's all season maximum performance tire. It sheds water well, but sheer grip in my 968 was well short of the PS2's.

I thought the 60 wear rating was odd also until I read this article http://www.roadandtrack.com/article....rticle_id=5015
P zero's with a 60 wear rating and R compound. All P zero's are not the same and perhaps not all P zero rosso's either.

Got some more info on these tires. They are in production and should be released in the next two months. The tread wear is 60 and will be the same compound as the current Ferrari 599.

I think these are going to be awesome tires, a big step forward over the Corsa System that was OE on the Stradale with the same tread wear rating. I'm actually extremely pleased with the PZero Rossos that came on my 430...after 6 track days and 5600 street miles I was able to hang with a very well driven Stradale at Sears Point (yes, even in the corners and under braking, not just down the straights), and even after that track day they still have 25% tread remaining!

I've seen the tires on the 599, and I don't remember seeing "Corsa" on the sidewall at all, it's a completely new tire.
