From the last time I checked, more may have been sold over the past week, it wouldn't surprise me:

1 red/gray
2 GT silver/Terracotta
2 GT silver/ gray
1 black/terracotta.

Also:

2 Red/Gray listed but not really readily available (owners dithering about selling), hard to buy if they are not for sale (we all know how that game plays out ...... $$$$$)

and 2 sold not yet delivered (so they still show up):

1 Red/gray

1 GT silver/gray

That's all 10 on the locator, with a net of 6 available.

Any more info ... you have to call the Dealers

Congrats,
I own a black 04 CGT (and a lot of other stuff, too, but there is no comparison. I put 100 miles on it yesterday and I am just stunned every time I drive it. I am half serious about trying to get one of the last red ones, too.

Congratulations Colm you won't be disappointed in any way with the car. I wish I hadn't traded mine away. Every other car I have driven since trading my CGT is just such a disappointment. No question in my mind the CGT was the finest car I have ever driven or owned.

I thought a FGT might fill the void after I sold my CGT but was severely mistaken.

Congratulations on your purchase. I am sure you will enjoy it.

BTW I have never compared the 430 to the CGT from a performance standpoint. Totally two different cars. The 430 is not in the same league. Nevertheless personally I find the 430 much more in the fun factor category. The CGT is a serious machine for serious drivers.

With respect to your comment that the CGT technology will be cutting edge for years to come, with all due respect, "you are full of it" As a road car the 599 already has surpassed it and others are on the way including some from Porsche.

The cgt is a great car but one of many.

Carbon fiber chassis vs welded steel chassis. Not in the same league.

Actually, carbon fibre monocoque versus welded aluminum, not in the same league.

But in Nick's case "love (and financial interests) are blind" so he will never get it. Plus "he's so full of it" there is no room for objectivity. He is more to be pitied that to be blamed!

Ignoring your unjustified personal attack against me, I am offering you a piece of advice. Though I am sure you are a great driver, be careful driving your CGT. It can bite you when you least expect it. Enjoy it in good health.

BTW carbon fibre monocoque is NOT the best chassis for frequent road use. I hope you never have to find out why.

Where did you receive your engineering degree and in what specialty?

Nick, I am curious about your remark concerning the suitability of CF for a road car. Would you please explain? I recognize that CF tubs are costly and repairs can be extremely expensive. Is there something else?

I'm also curious about the 599 - stick an Enzo motor in a front engined Ferrari - cool but what makes it so technically advanced over a 575 (motor and HP excepted). FWIW, the looks of the 599 do not turn my crank but that's just me.

Lastly on the fun to drive factor between the CGT and the F430, Colm has one of each and can probably comment on his perceptions.

best,

Nick

Let me apologize if my comments are viewed by you as a personnel attack, there was no such intent or desire.

What I had intended, and do intend is to refute, when and where appropriate, your endless, unobjective and mindless Porsche bashing in favor of Ferrari. The numerous comments you make here (and on other sites) speak volumes about your bias(es). Your attempts to characterize the CGT as poorly designed car, for whatever obvious and hidden agenda(s) (while your opinion) are tiresome and apaparently groundless.

As a user and observer the CGT it is light years of both the F430 and 599, and I like both of those cars a great deal. In fact my next car after the RS should be a 599 (unless a 430 Stradale? gets in the way).

As far as the CGT biting me, well it is no more likely to bite me than a GT2, and less likely because I don't consider myself a great driver and stay within my physical limits, that said I recognize that stuff happens. I won't be demonstrating the car at triple digit speeds on the track either, it's not my thing. Even though I am a "chicken" and ultra conservative, I do consider myself a great fan of excellent engineering, hence the CGT.

I will enjoy owning the masterpiece (CGT), thank you for the good wishes, and repeated apologies for any persnoal attack you construe.

Colm, all this talk of 599's and such ... these days anything less than Mach 0.84 is slow as far as I am concerned

On a serious note, I am on the list for the 430 CS (or whatever it will be called). While I admire the C-GT and have driven one, I cannot reconcile the cost of ownership. I guess I am cheap when it comes down to it

best,
