I have noticed when either I'm driving behind or having someone else drive behind me in the CGT, that it has a propensity to throw rocks up like crazy! This has happened on the street and the track. It has been so severe that it has cracked the windshield of my 996 and a friend's 993. Has anyone else noticed this?

Don't you think it's the tires more than the car? Fender design may play a role, but every one of my street licensed race cars ( on R spec tires) throws a lot of stones. AS

Tires play a huge role. I'm not sure what tires your car was specced with, but any car of that level is going to be equipped with hugely sticky tires. Perhaps you are familiar with auto-x with r-comps, as you drive you can hear them pick up the dirt and stones, the tires on your car are the same way - they are so soft that they pick up dirt/pebbles/rocks as you drive and as you're going faster they will begin to shoot them off the tire.

AHHHHH!!!
Never thought about it being the tires. The car is equipped with the huge Pilot Sports on the rear. That would explain it!!
Thanks.
I'm getting a sign like the rock hauling trucks have:
