story was written up in la times 2/21 and also on drudge report. driver was stefan erikson, 44 yr old internet millionaire from malibu. may have been racing a mercedes slr @ 6 am. reportedly told police that he let some guy he just met drive the car but he ran off after the accident...only the driver side airbag deployed...go figure...
