Cheers Ha!!!

I didnt know if you frequented the Rennlist boards or not anymore,
We are still planning a 2007 Dubai/Bahrain trip.
I hope you didnt mind me posting a pic of your beautiful car.
BTW, there is a photo at a drag strip in Dubai of a red CGT
drag racing an ENZO (red of course). Was that you?
If so, how were the drag times in that hot climate?
all the best,
Marty K.

i know of some other cars but would feel uncomfortable contacting the owners to see if it would be OK to post a pic and if you dont mind gimme the car number.
I don't mind you asking

Me and a good friend of mine are working on a worldwide CGT-register (compareable to the Enzo-register, which can be found in the web).
We have contacts to 6 CGT-owners near us and are trying to find the other cars via internet and meetings.
If any CGT-owner feels uncomfortable of giving away any datas of his/her car, there is no problem. Also if there are any, who won't be listed within the register.
I'm trying to find at least 100 cars to start a webpage with them (only the country and the number of the car, maybe the colour... when the owner allows us to bring some more info we will also use a photo). At the moment I have around 30 with every datas and around 15 with only the locations, but no more infos.

Any more infos about that "little" project can be asked by PM

Thanks for your infos guys, and if anybody won't be listed, please let me know.

I don't mind at all Marty... That CGT in Um Alquwain's drag strip was not mine. I'm also curious to what the result was..

Lots of people to choose from there, but it would not surprise me if both the CGT and the Enzo belongs to Mohammed bin Sulayem, the ex-racing driver and M.Jackson's host while he was in Dubai. I've visited his amazing car collection which at the point of my visit included a CLK GTR, F40, F50, XJ220, GT1, 959 etc etc. I know he later acquired a CGT (not sure of the color) and a (red) Enzo.

EDIT: I'm not a CGT owner but here's a picture of my daughter who like all of us seemed to really fancy it (in this case, #1000 on the console)...

Thanks! Poor pic, but it's Seal/Terracotta. Some lucky owner.... Here's a slightly better one with a GTsilver/black in the background:
