Jay Leno and the CGT, TLC tonight!
11 pm PDT, The Learning Channel, coverage of the Jay Leno/David Donohue record run at Talledega. Saw a few minutes of it this afternoon, looked pretty good.

It was AMAZING. Pretty well a show dedicated to the 550 spyder and some guys that specialize in building repros, as well as the 2 track-prepared CGT's going for various speed records at Taledega.

Ride is one of my fav. shows on T.V. If you're at all a car guy (which I bet 90% of us here are) you will love it. This episode was great!! Don't forget about the 993 RUF!!! Can any of you believe the car collection of the guy on there. WOW!!!!!!!!!!

They said they'd modded the suspension and tires for the run. As well as put 5-point harnesses in the drivers seat. Otherwise, it was stock.

One of the things I liked about this show was that I could finally hear what the CGT sounds like from outside the car! I track mine all the time, but always had to hear other peoples reports of what it sounded like.
Btw, I am dissappointed with Porsche for not giving us any help installing harnesses in this car. It is a shame.
