Nice, but for $1.2 MM I'd rather have the newer, and street legal, technology of a Bugatti Veyron!...or three CGT's!

In my opinion, the MOST desireable GT-1 with 993 style headlights. Remove the graphics and I'll take it. When may I have it???

I have no idea why there is any concern with street legality. They may be licensed and driven here on the street. At the Hershey Parade, a silver GT-1 was driven there and shown at the concours, and later at the "Porsche Museum" at Parade headquarters. Here it is:

Click on 'view sellers other items.' They're selling a 959 also. 2/3 of my wish list.

I like the GT1 with the 996 headlights more. I believe there are only 7 street legal GT1s registered for road use.

I would take a CGT (only 1 CGT) over a Veyron anyday. A Veyron cannot be considered a real sports car (it weights well over 4000 pounds). It goes to say that I would take any GT1, over pretty much any car in the world. Were they ever actually marketed to the public, or did a handful of people just certify them for road use?

I just noticed, a guy who is selling a GT1 ought to be able to spell the word "rare".

The car for sale is certainly WPOZZZ99ZVS396002, the second prototype.
WPOZZZ99ZVS396001 was for sale here.

Nice cars, but not as the street version of the 1998 GT1.

Best regards,
Samuel

I think that 959 S was the best !!! Carrera GT is a great legacy of that model.
