Default Passenger door won't open

that's right, my passenger door won't open from inside the car. It opens fine from the outside. Has anyone else had this problem?
Thanks
Chuck

On my 944, and I'm assuming the linkage is exactly the same...or not.

Chuck - in a conversation with a service guy at my dealership, I was told there are 4 issues outstanding with the CGT. All 4 deal with early 2004 models (I think he mentioned the 1st 100 cars). If your car is one of these, I think your dealership will fix the problem at no charge. Here's a summary of the 4 items:

1. fogging headlights
2. flickering low beam headlights
3. door cable linkage issue, resulting in inability to open door from the inside
4. possible corrosion on fuel line

#3 might be the issue for you.

I just received a letter today from Porsche that says my car "248" requires two recalls.

To Prevent the possibility of headlight fogging, the ventilation of the main headlight on your vehicle should be modified.

To improve comfort in the use of inner door openers, new bowden cables should be installed.

I have noticed that the handle on the passengers side requires more effort to unlatch from the inside of the car so hopefully this should take care of that.
