CGT recall?

CGT recall?
My mechanic just told me they have a CGT in because of a recall. He wasn't sure about the reason, but it has to do with some electrical part on the front. Anybody knows about that? If not, I could try to get more details...

'My' chief-mechanic just told me there are actually 4 recalls. Here's the summary:
- change some fuel pipe
- install different cables for the door closing mecanism
- change some electrical connection of the front lights
- add some ventilation to the front lights (many CGT owners reported humidity in the lights)
So nothing really safety-related.
My dealer currently has a CGT in for these fixes. The car is a european version MY '04 (built in June '04 I think).

My dealer is pretty good about keeping abreast of things like this. I speculate that the reason I've heard nothing is that my build date (January '05) already included these fixes.
Maybe?

Mike, you're correct: MY '05 cars might already have these fixes. Asking your dealer about the specific points I mentionned wouldn't hurt though.
Enjoy it!

Ok these are service actions.... which are not recalls. These are voluntary measures taken by Porsche to improve the vehicle. So they take it upon themselves to alert you to the issue instead of you figuring it out yourself and having to bring it in. Recalls are federally mandated and are required by the government and they usually deal with safety items. Service actions are totally different. With that out of the way, heres the brake down.
