Evan,

I commend your efforts in creating this memorial site for Ben. This is a very kind act, and I'm sure that his family will appreciate it.

D_Schultz,

Was Cory a member here at Rennlist? If so, what was his username? I agree with you, it is equally tragic that Cory passed away, as well.

Unhappy

I did not know Ben nor did I ever have the opportunity to correspond with him, but the tragic loss of one of my Porsche brethren especially such as this, is heartfelt.

My most sincere and very deepest condolences

As far as I know, Cory was not a member of Rennlist, as he was a Ferrari, Lamborghini guy most of his friends are over on F chat and Lambo power. However at Crystal Cove, a few of the Ferrari guys who were there with him that day and who had the unenviable task of taking his Lamborghini and belongings home to his wife wandered over and spoke with the guys who knew Ben best. John and Jerry even wrote a few words in the book that was being handed around. Just before the drive Jerry remarked to me that this whole gathering not only impressed him but made him feel a whole lot better. Cory was spoken of during the gathering as well and everyone acknowledged that it was the spirit of generosity that put him there and it could've been any of us in that passenger seat.

Rest in peace Corey Rudl!
You are absolutely right. There was no intentional disrespect by his omission in our discussions here. The fellows here are simply commiserating on the loss of one of our own. But you are right in speaking up to remind us all that two lives were lost that day. Yes, death is as somber as it gets, and every single soul that passes from this life to the next deserves our utmost respect. Thank you for reminding us.

Corey Rudl left a young wife of only 30 days...that is much too soon to be a widow.

Both Ben & Corey will be missed...see you someday with the Exotics in the sky!

I didn't really know the guy but I feel sad that the guy lost his life at such a young age. My cousin died in a car accident when he was attending grad school at Harvard. He fell asleep at the wheel with his friends in the car. I hope his family will be okay and that you guys pay your respects.
