So tell us more about the Carrera GT experience as an owner! Have you been able to drive it much? All the details please. I can only live vicariously through you.

Mortgage the house, sell your first born, be a male prostitute, do what ever it takes, you won't regret it.

Damn! Very nice pics! There's a yellow one in the dealership for sale here and I just drool when I see that bad puppy in the showroom! It calls out to me wanting me to just grab the keys and go!
I would have a hard time parting with my 996TT but from the sounds of it I wouldn't even miss it!
Yes...I want one! I was wondering if the price was worth it - considering I just got my 996TT up to over 600hp and it flies like a bat outta hell anyway but those of you who own one say there's nothing that compares! I need to drive one!

Awsome car Peter. I too have no regrets. I have driven 1800 miles in six weeks, and my face still hurts from smiling so much. I really understand how you felt about your 993TT, but I knew that you would end up selling it too after putting some miles on the GT. No other car has ever given me this much pleasure. The car simply ruined me. I have raced motorcycles for years, but have never spent much time on on a track in a car. I just did a three day Skip Barber Racing school at Road America, followed by the three day Panoz school at Road Atlanta so I could better enjoy my car at the track. I can't wait to see how it feels to drive it in a track/race envoirnment. Still, what most surprized me with the GT is how easy it is to just go out and drive. I have driven many exotics, but can't recall anything as easy and comfortable to just tool around in. I can only imagine the thrill of exploring the GT's capabilities in a safer, faster place. I hope to see you at a track some day soon. Until then, enjoy your car! (BTW, thanks again for the help with the dead battery. I would never figured that out without the book....or your help). Thanks again, Tim

That yellow is looking really good! You guys are so blessed to have the ultimate Porsche supercar to drive. One day maybe!

Thank you for sharing your story.
I've always tell my daughter to "be happy with what you have, there will always be kids with more"
Right now I am finding that I need to take my own advice.
Oh my, but she sure is pretty. Congratulations.
