Default I did it!!

I made the deal!!! I decided to trade the GT3 and Baby Lambo but kept my 97 TT. The 993 TT that I own is simply too clean to part with and will never be replaceable in my book. The CGT is a new 2005 Silver/Ascot, I'll be picking it up before the weekend. I will have a Valentine V1 installed in the rearview mirror with the display intergrated into it, I have this is the Lambo and it looks and works real sweet. Pictures of the car and install will be up shortly.

Thanks to all for giving me your views on this "dilemma" I had, I think I made the best descision and your input was important for me. See you all soon.

How'd you like the 962? I love those cars!

congratulations... You surely wont be sorry. The clutch takes getting used to, but that sound will make you hooked. I had traded my '02 murcielago as well as my previous everyday driver: '02 911 Turbo. I am now leasing a 997 Carrera, while having the Carrera GT for the end of the week. Things have worked out fairly well, considering I had no intentions of leasing a new model.

enjoy her

I lied to you guys, I bought a yellow/black 2004 owned buy a Porsche franchise principle in the last minute. It has 281 miles on it and saved me $37,000 more from the already low price of $416,000 on the 2005. PLUS I love the yellow and did not think I would find one!! I believe it is number 473 or so. If it is a 04 or an 05, it won't matter in 3-4 years and I am pretty happy about the additional savings. Car will be here Friday!!!

My '04 Serial number is 248, I am guessing that his is 273 and not 473.

There may be several explanations:

1) It's not really an '04.

2) The chassis edition number was a special assignment (I requested and received #0911 for my early '05).

3) Transcription error.

Any others?

The correct number of the chassis is 269, sorry I need glasses. Don't read into the $37K savings too much. That was the accumulative savings between:
- the lower price on this GT (shown as $389K)
- the additional dollars they gave me on my trade-ins over the other guy
- the additional tax savings

All in all I am very happy and will be getting it tommorow. It's suppose to rain until next week so that really sucks, I'll just be spending alot of time looking at it. I got a C4 cab for my wife coming on the same truck so we will be getting that one wet instead!

I got the CGT today. All I can say is, WOOOOOOOOOOOW! Drove 100 miles into the Catskill Mountains and called my wife to tell her I love another, and I won't be home tonight. I have finally reached the pinnacle of street legal vehicles, nothing comes close, NOTHING. Go buy one today. Mortgage the house, sell your first born, be a male prostitute, do what ever it takes, you won't regret it.

Polar Peter, haven ridden in one for a few hundred miles, (and on the track in
Liepzig), I couldn't agree more. I am considering leaving my family, taking all
my proceeds and buying and living in a CGT!
