c-gt, enzo, F40 and others on top gear

Long download but worth every second. They showcase everything worthwhile from CGT, Zonda and Enzo back in time to F40, MacLaren and Jag 220. Clarkson is also very funny given that he's a Pommie.

Thanks for the download. I really wish we could get that on TV here.
Crazy that the Enzo beat the C-GT by .8 seconds around their track. Too bad they don't run them on the same day under the same conditions....

I don't think he's concerned about not presenting Porsches in a fair light.

Clarkson shows bias and hate through the show and his articles repeatedly... and unfortunately, that hatred isn't always just toward cars
Second to bottom line... he thinks he's as good a driver as Tiff, but he's not (First thing Tiff did in his Enzo drive was turn off the traction control... Clarkson was too afraid).
Bottom line... he's a jackass.

I agree that Clarkson is a jackass, but he's an entertaining jackass. The show is also entertaining for some of the "stunts" they pull, like the segments "Star in a reasonably priced car" and so forth.
It makes me wish that some American car magazines would do a similar show. I think the Car and Driver editors/reviewers are equally entertaining, at least in print, and I think they would try to provide a little more objective viewpoint on cars (although they, too, have their biases regarding cars).

DMin... it sure is entertaining. The "stig" gig is pretty funny, and yes, the "star in a reasonably priced car" is always great. The general outlay of the show is funny (like this episode's "we don't do plugs").
ben in lj, I don't think I'm familiar with AMS? Could you post the details of at all possible? I appreciate it!

BTW, Car & Driver have a show on SpikeTV every Sat&Sun. It is okay, but not near as good as 5th Gear or Top Gear.
I believe there is also a Motor Trend show (not sure of Channel) and Autoweek. They are okay, but nothing special.

Yes, it is quite evident that Clarkson has a huge bias for Ferraris and against Porsche.

your nick mason and u lend clarkson your million dollar car to thrash the crap out off for a tv show? are u saying u wudnt put down rules which he has to stick by? like saying dont turn the traction control off for instance?
im pretty positive you wouldnt jsut hand over the keys and not lay down any ground rules.
