Hi All-

A covered and podiumed Carrera GT adorned the paddock area of Texas Motor Speedway for the PCA Parade DE and first ever Parade Club Race.

On Wed, Thurs, Fri, and Sat at noon, the cover came off and the car was ramped off the podium to take to the track.

The deep onyx black car swept around the ALMS course effortlessly. Coming off the NASCAR 3 turn and onto the highbank oval, the carbon fiber rear humps stood out from the inky darkness of the glossy paint.

Blasting down the front straight the high pitch whine of the V10 was was projected all over by the amphatheater like surroundings of the stands.
My best guesstimate was a top speed close to 180 - 190 before slowing for the chicane.

If you closed your eyes you would swear it was an Indy or F1 car at speed -not a Porsche meant for the street.

I have on track photos but am a rookie when it comes to posting them.
I will gladly send some to be posted if you can help out.

just for the record the 'humps' over the intake aren't carbon fiber, they are a metal mesh, IIRC aluminum
