CGT delivery in San Jose
Happened to be at Stevens Creek Porsche when they delivered a silver/black CGT last week. Some observations:
1. MSRP was about $458. $100K premium added at dealer. Supposedly went out the door for about $530+.
2. Love that carbon fiber!
3. Beautiful engine sound!
4. Salesman was more than a little nervous driving it out of the showroom.
5. Gas tank was only about 1/2 full when purchased--that question has come up in another thread in regard to the car rear-ended in San Diego. Buyer passed on waiting for a fill.
6. Manager was nervous about buyer scraping bottom out of driveway, and wanted to make sure dealership would not be responsible for this.
7. Lots of trouble figuring out CD changer and Nav system.
8. Buyer had some guts and jumped on it right away out of driveway.
Lots of fun. The drive-off drew quite an impressed crowd.
