CGT experience
Hello dear friends.
I'm guy from Israel
Love sport cars since I remember myself, and got a well build mx5 for the last 6 years.
The CGT is my all time favorite car, and my main material goal in life at the moment.
i belive that if we want to achive our dreams we need to start now.
so i would like to know if i could join with some owner as a passanger to feel how it like to be drivin in a CGT
have a great day and thank you for your time

I hope you find someone local. If you ever are in the NY area DM me. Good luck on your quest. I didn't really lust after a CGT like i have some other cars. I got a decent entry point and bought one assuming it would be a quick fling. It took time to grow on me but eventually caused me to sell every car I owned including what i assumed were keepers. Who knows if I keep it "forever" but it changed how I approach the hobby including the serial buy/sell churn and desire to have a dozen other options to keep it interesting.

F50 feels a lot older than CGT, but also approximates most closely in concept too - carbon construction, NA engine from F1, manual transmission, roof off, minimal/no driver aids, pure driver involvement. Great car. Makes CGT look like a bargain with current prices too.

I'd still take a CGT over an F50 every day of the week. Just shows how it has no true rival.
If you were to sell you CGT...what would you buy to replace it that's similar...literally nothing exists....so that proves it can only go up more in value.

You could buy the new Gordon Murray T50 or the Pagani Utopia, if you are able to get an allocation!? But these cars are in a different price bracket like the F-50... So yea there really is nothing else like a CGT for todays money.

I have 2 limited 2011 C6 Z06 Carbon Editions in Inferno Orange. RWD, high power, NA, Enzo CCB's, magnetic suspension and stick. Not many other options in this department at any price range. Please correct me if i missed one. 2011 2RS, 4.0 and 8.4L Vipers are an exception. But Vettes are still under 100k! I also have a white last year 2013 with same oem options. The CGT and my one very slightly upgraded vette run the same speeds in the 1/4 and 1/2 mile. Vette beats the pants off cgt on the same track. I drove both equally 9/10th's. The CCB and magnetic suspension option on C6's are called Z07. Truly a mini CGT. I also put some forged magnesium wheels on one. Removed 42.9 pounds of rotational weight. Car was awesome before. With the magnesium wheels became absolutely spectacular! I put 10k miles a year on it.
