Just the bushings? Thats crazy. Seems like new bushings could be machined in a couple of minutes.

It's not the bushings, it's the wishbone mounting point to the tub.

Porsche are concerned enough to issue a stop drive campaign (akin to an aircraft grounding) I'd be seriously worried in the worst case if one were involved in an accident that was attributable to this failure, however unlikely.

I am in touch with PCGB regularly, the new parts are likely Q3 2024, then the decision on how to prioritise who gets their cars fixed first.

They should include a free service for making us have the cars sit for 2 freaking years!

I think really what's happening here...they want CGT owners to forget how awesome the cars are that they USED to make and buy the new garbage!! Don't let people see how cool they once were...park those away out of sight so we can sell POS sport classics for 45 billion doillars!

Yeah I'm mad I can't drive it lol

What does "wishbone mounting point to tub" mean? It is flat on that wishbone mounting point and tub is flat. And 2 bolts or nuts hold it on. Right? I interpreted the Porsche language as just the bushings in the arms.

It’s the area circled in red. The second image is the 918 design, same material thickness around the hole and material includes molybdenum and chromium to resist corrosion (as the new CGT parts will have)

Thank you for the clarification brother!!! So since they are fully removing and installing all control arms and aligning that seems the best time to hand the dealer a box of Ohlins coilovers and have them install! Gotta be tons of overlapping labor!
