Anyone own both? Thoughts between the 2? I really want to add an Sv or Svj badly.
SV with factory race exhaust and tune - many SV's were upgraded / downgraded to Aventador S emissions. Make sure when they work on SV they leave that off the to do list and keep the race exhaust and tune. Decided not to go with SVJ 63 Roadster as it was near 800k and keep the SV - SVJ very cool car just couldn't let my SV go.
Factory race and tune in the SV is like throwing firecrackers at bikers / walkers and CGT with GMG exhaust isn't far behind in scaring the innocent
If you are tall / wide I am 6 2 215 make sure to get comfort seat - the carbon seats suck and have a weird tilt. The electric seats lowers between the rails the carbon seats sit on the rail.
I may let mine go only due to no room and want a track car -

It will be interesting to see where prices settle on the SV and SVJ. Wonder if the SVJ will drop below the SV due to production #s.
I would say only the SVJ has the potential to appreciate (if appreciation will happen at all). In the car world, only the first and the last of any model gets valued. In the case of the Ferrari lightweight V8, it’s the 360CS (first) and the 458 Speciale (last) that has held its value over time. The 430 Scuderia has been simply overlooked.
Nice - call around dealers can't advertise. Don't see SVJ hold any better than SV and If I thought it was better or worth the price would have grabbed one - some guys buy to sell getting an SVJ now is fine if you don't mind the hit or keep long term. If I were in your shoes go CGT if that's the choice.

I'd drive one first. I personally think they are awful (for the money). I have a performante spyder and it's ok (wife loves it). But some people LOVE them.

Have driven quite a few. I think they are better and more useable on the street than the CGT. Amazing cars. Love the Huracan as well, its just not an event like the V12 Lambos are.

Me
I think it's the best priced rear engine V12 roadster money can buy and ran at the Ring in 7 and SVJ 15 seconds faster.
Powerful road presence fast single clutch drama 50% more than the Scud / 16M - lower the little window to hear engine sounds / factory race exhaust can't think of anything else that compares out of Italy in decades without a 1 or 2 in front of the price.
