I was only able to find a part number for the entire brake duct, I'm not sure if Porsche sells the ring separately. If yours fell off recently there's a good chance it's laying on the under panel underneath the engine. I commonly find them there as this is a common issue. Porsche has a bulletin noting a new adhesive to use while re-securing them

Driver side: 980.504.443.03
Passenger side: 980.504.444.03
Updated Two Part Adhesive: 000.043.206.30
Adhesive Applicator: 000.043.206.31

Try part 980.504.843.00 for the aluminum ring.

The ring just detached on the passenger side on mine. I haven't fixed it yet and will likely sand and try the adhesive. I was told that the adhesive (part 000.043.206.30) from the CGT parts catalog is surprisingly expensive for what it is. Anyone have a recommendation on an alternative adhesive or where to source it?

Is there a sponsor here that anyone recommends to order parts from?

I’d get the advice of a dealer tech such as Jimmy Repasi before doing anything like JB Welding a part onto a Carrera GT, but I would bet that stuff would hold that ring on until the end of time.

I agree! JB Weld is an under rated product. Just about any product could be used for this application as the area being glued isn't visible. I was just passing along the information published by Porsche in the bulletin.
