Buying this car for the 4th time. Canadian car, 2005 with 3500 miles. Good service history and clutch measurement. Engine out not yet done. Pretty boring colour combo, but I quite like GT silver and prefer Ascot to black.

Will check usual and ask them if they can install charging hard point to bypass the crappy glove box thing.

Anything else in particular I should have checked?

Thanks.

suspension leaks (10/10 the dampers are in need of a rebuild with that low mileage). Cam wear. Coils for cracks. Battery health. Special look at everything that has rubber, especially lines of any kind.
Check the tires manufacture date.
edit: check the gearchanges too, it has barely any mileage but never too cautious to check for bad synchros.

My only suggestion is the CW auction - black CGT starts in a few hours some other very nice cars.

Beautiful car Jamie. Hang on to this one for a while..
Also might want to check the rear main seal for leakage.

I would love to be in a position to buy the same CGT 4 times lol

Congrats!! Any chance you want to bring it to PCO cars and coffee in the spring? We don't get to see to many in the flesh in Ontario.

^ whew... ok you have hope still hahaha
congratulations again
I think after 15 years, CGT are slowly getting into the hands of long term owners who care for and drive them.

Default Tires

I couldn't agree more re: tires..I can speak from experience.

I totaled my '05 Ford GT at 35mph because of the tires (and how their age limited the way they were able to respond to a crappy road surface (police report concured)).
