What's a wrecked 959 worth?
Saw this, cringed, and then thought, "what's it worth"? The auction house seems to give a range, but is this fair?

Beatiful car. Great color combo. Will probably end up in Europe where these types of issues mean less to the car's value and still great craftsmanship exists.

I’m very surprised at the estimate. A proper repair will take a very long time. The parts are not sitting on a shelf somewhere. The best place to get this fixed would be the Porsche repair shop at the museum... big bucks. I’d say this would be a car Porsche should acquire and bring back.

I saw this and immediately thought a existing 959 owner might be interested in it as a spares car. Or does Porsche still manufacture new OEM parts for the 959?

I'd think Canepa could also restore that front tub.

I'll venture a guess that this guy is late to the party and got what was available which was a bumper hitch rig. (For a half-million dollar car?)
Gooseneck or better. 1st choice is an enclosed commercial trailer pulled by a road tractor with a pro driver who does this for a living.
