Carrera GT all the way if you ask me....but you are asking Porsche guys.
The GTO is great...but at this point it feels kinda like an aging / old Ferrari.
CGT gets better and better and can't beat the manual trans.
Plus there's nothing that looks like a CGT in the Porsche lineup (although I've heard "hey that's a big boxster before"). The GTO looks to most people like any other 599.

Burning Brakes
I never liked the look of the 599. Love the 550,575 & F12 but find the 599 not appealing. However, the main thing for me is the paddle shifter vs manual transmission. I find the paddle shifter boring unless I am using the car on track.

Yeah, I'm afraid you're going to get mostly biased opinions here but after having driven lots of exotics, no car has come anywhere close to be as rewarding to drive as the cgt has.

CGT>599GTO
CGT is historically important Porsche. One of three Porsche supercars. Manual, NA V10, Roadster, limited.
599GTO is one in a series of LE V12 Ferraris. Cannibalizes the GTO name. Too big. Automatic.

Understand someone orders every new F - but to buy one now agree seems old and the GTO was a money grab.
Love my FF it's ugly but great car until 812 proper high power GT most likely last new F car as a hybrid Ferrari has zero appeal.

Had to ask !
We are hopefully selling a nice acre lot, am getting ready to retire, and wanted one last toy before my aching bones cant exit a Supercar. ( Youth is wasted on the young )
That's why the 599 GTO came to mind hoping it would check all the boxes and still be easy to enter and exit and a reasonable ride. Wrong crowd !
Actually I kinda knew the answer before asking.
599's are cool cars but one more front engined V-12 with an automatic. The GTO is basically a tuned GTB with limited production numbers which help drive the price. IMO the real value 599 is the HGTE. Add 10K for a Brilliance header system and sweet sweet music.
The reason I love my 512BB is that it was the last of its era; Last hand built/formed Ferrari other than the supercars. Last carbureted Ferrari and some say last of the truly analog Ferraris. A lot more oomph that the 365 Boxer.
Collectors like firsts and lasts. The BB is in a sweet spot and much undervalued IMO (Gotta sell it to justify a Carrera GT though.)
The Carrera GT was like that.
Porsche's first Porsche supercar and the last analog supercar.
What was I thinking !!

May be interested in the BB if your looking to sell.

Recall seeing them around 250k - assume msrp was above HGTE which was around 350k so Alonso 400k?
Over priced and limited Ferrari's are a given even if it's just paint - GTO was a left over parts bin cool car but to see them at 750 when a 599 is 150 makes no sense.
