When I was a teenager, I called Porsche and pretended to be a doctor interested in learning more about their 911s.
A few weeks later, a package containing a VHS video and a brochure for the 993 arrived. The way the pamphlet was stapled, it opened to a Polar Silver with Black Interior Carrera 4S.
My heart sank. I fell in love. I set out on a mission to own it and fortunately, years later, I did!
I watched various Porsches come and go, but none of them ever moved me in the same way...until the Carrera GT.
I would regularly and frequently watch the Top Gear episode and take delight in Clarkson's expression of how much he enjoyed this car. I dreamt about owning a machine that is art, mechanical ingenuity and... soul?
Today, that dream came true.
Silver, black, 8600 miles.
I plan on driving it every opportunity I can.... and sharing the experience with everyone who asks for a ride!
