Newest diecast addition (the full size car should come home in two days!)
This is not a 2024 RS6 Performance model, but it’s as close as hubby could find. (It represents 2020-2023 RS6 Avant) He surprised me with it today!
Model interior…not bad!
It had fingerprints so required an immediate detailing LOL!
Fits nicely in the garage (the real car is 3” longer than the Cayenne…)

There's a whole series of SD-style stuff from Japan.
As while chibi (or Super Deformed) was an element of manga and anime from the 1950s, it wasn't until the 1990s (my estimate) it popped up in the physical world.
Keitai strap pieces, collectibles, and just about anything you can think of was SDed at some point.
The trend has died off, but SD models, are now highly sought after and prices reflect this, with some stuff well over USD200 or more for kits that were maybe USD10 when new...
I saw a 928 once, and some of the options available are very kakoii for sure (cool)... as while filling your bookcase with realistic models is neat, there's nothing quite like watching a pull-back SD 911 run across your desk, and crash into your mouse, when you're on that late night conference call!
Or. so I am told...
