Default Why don't any feel any difference between different PASM settings?

On my 23 Macan S, I feel zero difference between standard, sport and sport plus setting of the PASM. Is mine broken or is it something super fancy/secret what only the experts can feel when they take the Macan to the track?

If you go from Sport to Sport+, you should see a drop from gear 7 to 5 and an increase of rpm.

You are talking about the drive mode setting. I am just talking about the suspension settings.

On a smooth road, nothing will happen in terms of ride quality. At a normal driving pace, nothing will change.

You can notice it on really bad roads, but more than anything it comes into play at 9/10th's and above, which basically never happens on public roads.

My town (Irvine in OC) has pretty smooth road surface and I don't notice much different as well but when I go to LA (pretty nasty road condition), I notice difference. Macan PASM isn't like dramatic changes in 911 but it's def. different between settings. So if you don't notice much, you should be happy that you live in good area to drive Macan. =)

take a corner on each mode, you will feel a difference. don't over do it -- it's an suv after all.
If you've ever driven on a track you should be able to tell when it's on normal, sport, sport+ suspension.

You can also take a speedbump, but you will risk damaging the suspension if you're just barrelling down the road.

On my 22 GTS the difference between Normal and Sport is subtle. The difference in Sport+ is profound, suspension is rock hard. Something is not right on yours.

Same response on my '22 GTS. However, the differences are more noticeable on uneven surfaces and sharp corners taken at speed.

Do you have airsuspension? I have just the regular steel suspension with PASM

With air suspension it's definitely noticeable, but it's subtle. The ride quality on the air suspension is absolutely perfect, IMO... absorbs bumps without muting road feel... not sure how they did it, actually. What you should notice between settings is less side to side roll, less front end dive under braking and less squat under acceleration.

Yes air. Sorry I didn't know you could have PASM without air suspension.

I am getting the 2025 Macan GTS, loaded. My salesman at the Porsche Dealership let me drive his GTS. I noted the same thing. His response, this is not a 911.

There must be something off. The GTS has an air suspension standard, the S not. Mine has steel suspensions with PASM and it seem to be normal that you don't feel anything. With the air suspension you definitely should feel something, I mean your height is changing when you change the settings and this should definitely be felt when you drive.....

Air suspension ride height and PASM firmness can be adjusted independently. You can set PASM to full soft with ride height on lowest and vice versa. To really feel a difference, ride height should be set to lowest with PASM on firmest and then drive on a road with a lot of expansion joints and then do it again with ride height in highest and PASM on softest. If the vehicle has sport chrono, then switching that to Sport Plus will automatically put PASM into firmest and ride height lowest but you can still then change the suspension settings.

I also have a '23 S, but mine is on the air suspension. The difference between normal and sport is subtle, but noticeable. Sport + is significantly firmer than sport, but still very compliant. I test drove one on steel springs and the difference wasn't as profound, but I could feel a difference between all three settings.
