Love the red interior. I have red leather interior in my red Alfa Romeo Giulia. Macan S that I am waiting on was a dealer order and has black. If I had ordered it, would have definitely gone with the red interior. Congrats!

Thank you, Garnet Red leather interior was a definite want on her build list. We are very pleased with the interior cabin combination. In real time, color has a tilt towards a warmer burgundy vs. brighter red.

I placed an order for a Miami Blue Macan in February with an anticipated delivery date of 3/25. The car came into the Delaware port on 3/15, and there it still sits, now in June. My BMW is over lease time and now over miles and I am livid. After 17 BMW's, I decided to give Porsche a chance -- BAD MOVE!! My SA acts like it is no big deal. No firm delivery date as of now. He says maybe July or even as long as December. How does this company even stay in business??? If I were not so in love with the Miami Blue color, I would take back my deposit and get another X5. Really, Porsche???

My understanding the delays are because of CARB certification and only the S models are confirmed as of now, and the base models are still awaiting their certification.

Sharkdiver, you should be able to get your deposit back.

Stopped by my dealer today and looked at a base Macan in chalk. I think this color looks amazing in person; pictures do not capture the true beauty of this color. Had this one been an S, I would have bought it today.

Yes, I can get my deposit back. Even on a custom ordered car. However, I really liked the new Macan and the specs and the color and the huge screen, etc. If I place a new order I will have to wait God knows how long to get this car. So strange to see how weird Porsche operates as opposed to BMW. I will wait until July. If not, Porsche be damned and I will get another BMW. They have never let me down in 30+ years!!! My new car dealer is looking pretty shabby.

My 2019 Macan S made it on the Viking Conquest which left the Port of Emden about an hour ago! New ETA at my dealer is 5 July. Getting excited!

Picked up our 2019 Macan S in White/ Beige leather. Great vehicle. The new PCM and Porsche connect data is awesome. I suspect that using Car Play the same maps would be as good for the center screen. Will see. My wife has to get use to the positioning of Porsche controls rather than BMW. AIr Suspension feels great and they ability to adjust it is a good value for the cost. I was able to negotiate 10% off Prepaid Maintenance. I had not seen anyone mention that. Perhaps it was because I didn’t get 7% off the MSRP (only could manage $2500 off in San Diego in February. Hoehn Porsche has no inventory of S cars as their allocations were already ordered. Base models are plentiful.

Bemdblu, congrats! My 2019 Macan S was offloaded in Jacksonville yesterday; should be here this week or next. Same situation with my dealer, plenty of base models, no S.
