Default Macan turbo-lag... any after-market fixes?

Hey guys - I'm starting to sniff around in the Macan market again but just wondering if there are any after-market fixes / solutions for the turbo-lag.

I recently drove a 2018 C4 GTS and with the new turbos the lag was very very minimal. But those are the new turbos and not what's in the Macans.

Any ideas?

TIA (thanks in advance)

yes.

buy a Turbo model or a Turbo PP

with all of the low end torque, there's virtually no so-called turbo lag.

Scott here from Fabspeed Motorsport, you can always tune your Macan, will help with HP boost and throttle response. Not necessarily "turbo lag" but should accomplish what you are looking for.

The "lag" on my GTS is pretty minimal in Sport or Sport+.

I agree with Jon, theres a big difference in Sport/Sport +. The PDK in Comfort is tuned for maximum fuel efficiency and shifts to a higher gear as quickly as possible. Since downshifts are so smooth, I usually just pull the paddle to get my acceleration done and the computer goes back to D.

Agreed...best fix is to get it out of Comfort mode. Lag is still present but is minimized.

Then get the Cobb Accessport. Not only you get boosted power, but throttle response becomes sharper. At speed, slight taps of the throttle gives you instant acceleration.

I see tuning options for S, GTS, and Turbo but nothing for base???
Is the market not there or is it due to the overall power train?

BGB motorsports has been tuning Macans since last year.
I drove their Macan Turbo and loved how playful it was!

I have a 2018 Macan S which had exremely low miles on it when I bought (it was a loaner for about 2 hours before I bought it). As such I was able to get the 6 year unlimited mileage CPO warranty. Will these Tuner upgrades void that warranty?
