Default Question on Bolt circle / Center lock 996 cup

Hi All,

I am building a set of hub stands for my car - 996 GT3 with centerlocks (old style) and found that the pins on my axle flange were off by as much as .030" between adjacent pins - consequently the stands I built using a bolt circle of 130mm did not fit. Is this common? are the pins wear items?

Also, I used a spare flange with new pins in it as a reference when I build the stands, and it is very consistent - < .002" between pins

Thanks

Ray
